A wonderful bit of music, I haven't ever been a fan of "hardcore" or it's multitudes of mini genres, but that's not what this is. This song is a jazzy, angry, bouncy, almost pop translation of music which happens to have screaming. It's not the genre, it's As Cities Burn. The folks simultaneously behind full out boppy indie offerings like "capo", and "petty" and heart wrenchingly bleak screaming tracks like "our world is gray" or "Timothy". On this track, all of those styles meld wondrously.
